Welcome to N=1 R&D!

This site is a hobby project where I try to combine academic research, anecdotal evidence, and personal experience.

The subjects I choose may vary wildly but will mainly revolve around health and fitness.

The name of this site is a reference to the fact that any of the experimental data provided by myself was performed on me.

As a result, the sample size (n) equals one.

All of the articles are divided into categories which are most of the time subdivided into subcategories which can in turn be subdivided into even more subcategories. I chose this approach so people who are looking for information on a specific subject can easily find it in the drop-down menu. At the bottom of this page, you can also find an alphabetical list of all the individual articles on this site. If you don't know where to start you can take a look at the "Overview" pages. This can give you an idea of what the category is about and where you can explore further.
