This is an overview of all of the top-level categories featured on this site. At the moment these are:
- Biochemistry for Dummies: Some introductory pages with an "as basic as possible explanation" of some key metabolic processes featured on the site. This will be expanded on an as-needed basis each time a biochemical process gets involved in an article that warrants some further explanation.
- Physical Health: Information on the more physical side of health. Infections, cancer, gut-health... Physical health problems I've personally suffered from and thus have extensively researched will be featured at first but other conditions might be tackled as I go along.
- Mental Health: Information on the more mental side of health. Once again, problems I've personally dealt with will be explored first but this can be expanded.
- Chemicals: This section will feature an extensive write-up on specific chemicals. Each time I mention a chemical in the other sections I will link to their respective page to provide more information.
- Exercise: A section about exercise. The general benefits. Considerations for longevity. Things I found work to work for me...
- Non-Chemical Interventions: An overview on any interventions that do not rely on chemicals. Things like meditation, rTMS, vagus-nerve stimulation... come to mind.
- Surgeries: My experience with certain surgeries. I might include other surgeries but as that's a bit above my pay grade I don't think a whole lot of detail will be included in this section.
- Putting it all together: This section will feature my own experiences with all of the other categories and how I've combined them to achieve a desired effect.
As you can probably guess a lot of these categories have a lot of overlap. Body and mind are two sides of the same coin so each aspect can have a lot of influence on the other. In hopes of making this site at least a bit navigable I've chosen these categories where I'll use the "Health" categories as an overview of the condition and a list of potentially interesting interventions. The other categories will be used to go more in depth on those interventions. Once again these rules are not set in stone and should be more seen as guidelines.
